This week Kerry and David talk to the Orange County Photography team of Jeff and Dana Sipper of Sipper Photography. The main focus of the conversation is a followup to last week’s brief answer to how to work with groups and families to get groups of people to look their best.
Kerry and David answer letters from listeners. We tried to answer a question about the gear we take to weddings, but need to do a post about that, its just too long to talk about on the show. Then we talked about organizing files in Lightroom and how we each do it differently. Next we discussed posing people, especially in larger groups and how to make sure they aren’t blinking. Finally we talked about dealing with clients and if you should every turn down work or “fire” a client.
Candice Cunningham is a wedding photographer from Ventura California (near Los Angeles) who has been perfecting her craft for the past seven years and managed to do FIFTY weddings last year. With this much experience under her belt, Candice talks to use about gettnig ready, dealing with clients, thank you cards, and much more.
While this show is pretty “wedding photography” heavy, the contents such as dealing with customers and doing things to make them feel special apply to virtually any aspect of photography.

In this week’s show Kerry and David talk to Tom Hogarty, the product manager for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Tom talks about using catalogs versus collections, answers questions from Camera Dojo twitter followers, and discusses where Lightroom may be going in the future.
