About

CameraDojo is a site dedicated to helping people get the most out of their photography by providing good quality tutorials, product reviews, and an active forum. CameraDojo.com was created and is run by southern California photographer Kerry Garrison (http://kerrygarrison.com) in January of 2007. Kerry writes several articles a week for the website and in May of 2008 he started the weekly CameraDojo podcast which is now one of the top photography podcasts in iTunes.

Kerry Garrison (http://kerrygarrison.com)
Writer / Publisher / Podcast Host

Kerry is a wedding, portrait and commercial photographer who has come out from behind the lens to create Camera Dojo, a website and companion podcast that helps photography enthusiasts hone their skills. Whether he is writing tutorials, doing product reviews, or working on the podcast, Kerry believes in paying-it-forward to give back for all the help he got from other photographers when he was getting started.

Kerry knows his way around the camera and offers his unique perspective about learning the craft of photography and making the most out of the tools and equipment you have at your disposal. Kerry takes difficult or complicated topics and explains them in a way that makes it simple for anyone to follow and yet detailed enough to help teach the topic properly.

Kerry lives in southern California with his wife, two kids, two cats, and a dog, plus lots of camera gear.

If you would like to have Kerry come and speak to your group, you can contact him at kgarrison@gmail.com.

Kerry and David, I've become a big fan of your podcast. I'm an amateur enthusiast, only shooting digital for about a year! I've learned a great deal. Thanks for all your advise! Here's a link to some shots I took of my daughter's high school play. My daughter is in the first slide...

Lots more to learn, but I'm having fun. Keep up the great podcast!
