Podcast #132 – Jason Groupp and WPPI

jasongrouppJason Groupp has been a photographer in New York for over 20 years and I am a big fan of his work, his style, and his teaching techniques. We have had Jason on the podcast before talking about lighting and that turned out to be an extremely popular podcast. Recently, Jason has taken the position of Director for WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) which hosts a large conference in Las Vegas every winter.

During this episode we talk about what WPPI is all about, who should go, and how to make the most out of an experience like this. If you are considering attending, or are on the fence, then listen to the program and see if it helps to clarify what your expectations are.

I continue to enjoy your podcasts, particularly now that they are coming out at a more regular rate.

I did want to comment on this last episode; there seemed to be a lot of 80's style information hording going on here. Your guest wouldn't divulge some of his tools, and Chris was doing the same. That was kind of a turn-off. Hopefully this won't be a trend on your show, which is excellent otherwise.

    Thanks for your time
