Podcast #111 – Matt Thompson from SongFreedom.com

Using copyrighted material in your slide shows, website, and videos is a serious legal issue and needs to be taken very seriously. The problem has always been that sites like opsound.org and triplescoopmusic.com don’t offer mainstream music. If you want that “special” song from a particular artist, you have never really had any options before. SongFreedom.com is out to change that my licensing popular songs for only $25 per project. This is a cost savings of epic proportions that many thought would never be possible.

In this show, Kerry and Chris talk to Matt Thompson from SongFreedom.com about the issues around using copyright material, what is happening in the courts today, and how SongFreedom.com is trying to solve these problems.

What a killer podcast. Makes it crystal clear why 25 bucks for the licenses provided by songfreedom.com are an incredible bargain.
