GoCast #11 – Teach Someone Something

In this GoCast, I talk about teaching somebody else something about photography and issue a challenge to all listeners. I have found that teaching people makes me learn things faster and more efficiently because of the process of preparing a lesson. This week I want everyone to find someone else and prepare a lesson and teach it. This can be a lesson at your local user group or just a one-on-one with a friend. Keri: Heard the audio fine and I totally agree. I found when I was a professor that I learned so much about what I had been doing for years … at least about how to articulate what I had been doing.
Kerry, I agree with you 100% . Everyone has something to offer the another. I may not be a college Professor, but I have something to share with someone; even if it's about my life experience in making wrong choices and the consequences that followed. A lot of the things I encountered in life could have been avoided, if someone had taken the time to just teach me the basic…. Like, how to choose the best path for my life?
Paying it forward is a good thing! In our world today, we need all the good we can get.
