Lots of good information. As a still shooter who's been doing video for about 2 years now (Canon XHA1 kit with lots of add-ons) the one thing I think you'll find it that you need that Beach Tek setup as well as the Rode mic. You're going to want to hook into mult boxes, use wireless mics, etc as well as the straight shotgun. We're using Sennheiser Evolution wireless mics(http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/618735-REG/Sennheiser_EW_100_ENG_G3_A_Evolution_G3_100_Series.html) and have had good results.<br>Andrew<br><a href="http://TheDiscerningPhotographer.com" rel="nofollow">TheDiscerningPhotographer</a> Great post!
