Video is here to stay. Yeah there are a lot of people who don't like making videos, and rather have a camera without video and save a few 100 bucks. But that wont happen. Canon can't make 20 different camera's to suite every buyer. And the way photography is going and self promotion, video is starting to play a bigger role. video killed the still camera (star). There is almost no reason NOT to include it since it is easy to add on. I do like the featureset of the 7D and now it is going to be harder to decide what my next rig will be.
