New Firmware Provides Tethered Shooting on Epson Photoviewers
If you use an Epson P6000 or P7000 Photoviewer you can now use your device as a tethered shooting solution for the Nikon D90, D300, D700, D3, D3X and Canon EOS 40D, 50D, 5D Mark II, 1D Mark III and 1Ds Mark III cameras.
For wedding and event photographers this gives you an instant backup since the photos are stored on both the Photoviewer and the camera’s memory card. This allows you to shoot all day and basically use your memory cards as your backup, get back to your studio and all of your images are already on one device making importing them much easier and faster.

Wonder why they decided to not support the Canon 5D?
My guess is the age of the camera. None of the older models are supported 20D, 30D, 5D, only currently shipping models. Makes a little bit of sense to me.
