Canon Firmware Update for 5D Mk II Adds Manual Video Control

5d2gripWhile the Canon EOS 5D Mark II was a revolution in the fact that it supported full motion, full definition HD video recording, one of the major drawbacks with the video mode was the lack of control over the camera’s settings. Not that the lack of manual control made the video unusable, but for such a high-end camera, photographers wanted more control over the different settings.

With the new firmware v1.1, you now have control over the ISO and shutter speed settings giving you the creative control to make the camera behave the way you want.
