What has been going since last summer? At the end of the year they killed the CPS program off, announced it was coming back in January at WPPI and is only just now open to applicants again. The problem in the past was that they were very subjective about who they let in, now you qualify based on the equipment you own. For many people, the savings in repairs and cleanings will more than make up for the cost.

Boy, it's hard to see the good news in this. First, this has been going on since last summer. And, in an economy where most pro photographers are struggling to make ends meet, Canon has 're-vamped' their program by adding significant fees for services they provided at no charge to the professional photographer. How is this good news?
